About Captain Riley Hemme

Captain Riley Hemme is a fully insured U.S. Coast Guard–licensed captain guiding anglers on the waters of Green Bay and Lake Michigan.

Riley grew up fishing Green Bay, Lake Michigan, and the surrounding waters. From a young age, he developed a deep passion for fishing and quickly became dedicated to mastering the sport. During high school, he competed in Wisconsin’s Master Angler program, where he focused heavily on multi-species fishing. In his final year, Riley caught 32 of the 34 eligible species and was awarded Master Angler of the Year in the state of Wisconsin.

After high school, Riley began pursuing a career in the fishing industry and shifted his focus toward the premier species that Green Bay and Lake Michigan have to offer. Over the years he has dedicated countless hours to targeting walleye, salmon, trout, and bass, along with many other species found in these waters.

Riley spends nearly 200 days a year on the water, constantly learning, refining techniques, and staying dialed in on seasonal patterns. This experience has allowed him to build a deep understanding of the fishery—knowledge he’s excited to share with every client who steps on the boat.

A guided trip with RHF Trophy Angling is about more than just catching fish. Clients can expect a fun, educational experience focused on learning techniques, understanding the fishery, and putting big fish in the boat. Riley is committed to working hard for every client and making sure each trip is both productive and memorable.

Whether you're chasing the fish of a lifetime or hoping to bring home a limit of fresh salmon, Captain Riley Hemme will do everything he can to make your trip a success.
