Trophy walleyes are available year-round, with peak periods from early March through mid-May and again from late July until ice-up. Fish in the 26–29 inch range are common, with some exceeding 30 inches. Eater walleye trips are also available.
Guided Smallmouth Bass Trips
Green Bay and Lake Michigan offer some of the finest smallmouth bass fishing in the country, known for both the quality and sheer numbers of fish. These trips take place on the crystal clear waters and scenic shorelines of Door County, where rocky structure, reefs, and shallow flats create ideal habitat for trophy caliber Smallmouth Bass.
Smallmouth Bass trips are available from late April through August, with each part of the season offering a unique fishing experience. Spring brings aggressive fish moving shallow to feed before and during the spawn, while summer bass transition to deeper structure where they continue to provide fast-paced action.
All smallmouth Bass trips are conducted using casting techniques, giving anglers an active and hands-on fishing experience. Depending on the conditions, guests may throw a variety of proven artificial lures while learning techniques and strategies they can use on their own future fishing trips.
Fish commonly range from 1–3 pounds, with many reaching the 5-pound class and occasional giants pushing 7 pounds. It's not uncommon to catch 50 or more smallmouth bass in a single outing, making these trips ideal for both experienced anglers looking to target trophy fish and beginners wanting consistent action.

Steelhead are another favorite, known for their acrobatic jumps and steady action, often continuing to bite even when the King Salmon slow down. Coho Salmon, most prevalent from May through mid-June, are widely regarded as some of the best eating fish in the lake, while Lake Trout provide additional opportunities throughout the season.
