About Captain Riley Hemme

Captain Riley Hemme spends nearly 200 days a year studying fish behavior and seasonal patterns on Green Bay and Lake Michigan. His teaching-first philosophy transforms every charter into an educational masterclass. By focusing on technical mechanics and conservation, Riley ensures every angler leaves with the technical knowledge to land the trophy of a lifetime.

As a USCG-licensed captain and Master Angler of the Year—having successfully targeted 32 of 34 eligible Wisconsin species—Riley combines professional credentials with a lifelong multi-species expertise. His sessions provide a safe, high-performance environment where learning the "why" is just as important as the catch itself.

The Teaching-First Philosophy

Riley Hemme Fishing operates on a clear promise: we work harder and dig deeper into the data. Our teaching-first approach transforms every charter into a masterclass where you don't just watch—you participate. We focus on the 'why' behind sonar signatures and seasonal migrations, empowering you to become a more strategic, confident angler on any body of water.

We are dedicated stewards of the Great Lakes. By prioritizing ethical handling, precise catch-and-release protocols, and selective harvest, we honor the resource as much as the sport. Expect a day marked by professional safety, relaxed instruction, and a relentless pursuit of the patterns that lead to trophy results.
