Trip Location
The location of your trip will vary depending on the season, current fishing patterns, and target species. Captain Riley fishes a wide range of productive waters, including Port Washington and the Lake Michigan shoreline through northern Door County, as well as both the east and west shores of Green Bay.
To ensure the best possible fishing experience, the exact launch location will be determined based on where the most productive fishing opportunities are at the time of your trip.
Captain Riley will communicate the final meeting location several days prior to your trip. If you have any questions or would like additional details ahead of time, please feel free to reach out at any time.
Boat & Equipment
At RHF Trophy Angling, clients fish from a fully equipped Nitro ZV20 fiberglass walleye boat, powered by a dependable Mercury 300 Pro XS outboard. This high-performance boat provides a smooth, safe ride while offering the space and stability needed for serious anglers.
The vessel is outfitted with top-of-the-line technology to give clients every advantage on the water. Electronics include a Garmin Force Kraken trolling motor, three Garmin LiveScope systems, Humminbird Side Imaging, and detailed Garmin mapping, allowing Captain Riley to precisely locate and target fish throughout the season.
All fishing is done using premium St. Croix rods paired with Shimano Vanford or Stradic spinning reels, ensuring clients are using professional-grade equipment designed for performance and reliability.
Captain Riley takes great pride in maintaining a clean, organized, and efficient boat, allowing clients to focus entirely on enjoying their day on the water. The vessel is always equipped with all required U.S. Coast Guard safety equipment, including life jackets and other essential gear, so your trip is both safe and worry-free.

RHF Trophy Angling provides all rods, reels, tackle, and fishing equipment needed for a successful day on the water. Clients simply need to bring a few personal items to ensure a comfortable and enjoyable trip.
Please plan to bring the following:

Trip Policies
Deposits
A $100 deposit is required to reserve your trip date. Deposits may be sent via Venmo, PayPal, Cash App, or check by mail. Your trip date will be confirmed once the deposit is received.
Cancellations
If you need to cancel your trip, please provide at least 7 days notice. Deposits may be transferred to a future date if proper notice is given. Cancellations made within 7 days of the trip will result in the loss of the deposit.
Weather
Fishing trips are conducted in a wide range of weather conditions. However, Captain Riley reserves the right to cancel or reschedule a trip if weather conditions are deemed unsafe. If a trip is cancelled due to unsafe weather, your deposit will be applied toward a rescheduled date.
Fishing Licenses
All anglers 16 years of age or older must possess a valid Wisconsin fishing license prior to the trip. A Great Lakes Trout & Salmon Stamp is also required for salmon and trout trips. You will need a paper copy with you, a screen shot will no longer be applicable.
Arrival Time
Please plan to arrive 10–15 minutes prior to your scheduled trip time to allow time for introductions, gear preparation, and a brief safety overview.
Alcohol & Conduct
Alcohol is permitted in moderation; however, no illegal drugs are allowed on the boat. Captain Riley reserves the right to end a trip early if unsafe or inappropriate behavior occurs.
Fish Cleaning & Harvest Policy
Fish cleaning services are included for all summer salmon and trout trips.
For walleye trips, fish cleaning is available upon request. To help protect the future of Green Bay’s fishery, all walleyes over 23 inches will be released.
Smallmouth bass are strictly catch-and-release and will not be kept.
Please bring an empty cooler to transport your fish home after the trip.

- No experience is necessary. Captain Riley provides full instruction and guidance, making trips enjoyable for both beginners and experienced anglers.

Will we be able to keep the fish we catch?
- Harvest depends on the species and current regulations. Certain species are kept for table fare, while others may be catch-and-release to help protect the fishery.
Do you clean the fish after the trip?
- Fish cleaning is included for salmon and trout trips. Cleaning for walleye is available upon request.
Are there size or bag limits?
- Yes. All fishing is conducted in accordance with Wisconsin regulations to ensure sustainable fisheries.
